Throughout HDI Solutions’ history we have worked with large state agencies representing tens of millions of stakeholders and Fortune 500 companies as well as smaller municipalities to develop and implement results-driven systems and management environments. DRIVe

HDI’s base system equipped to accurately identify uninsured motorists and give them the opportunity to resolve their insurance status. The system IDENTIFIES uninsured motorists and includes the ability to mail notifications to the registered vehicle owner; CONFIRMS whether the vehicle has been insured, sold, or is actually registered to another driver; and REPORTS uninsured vehicles and drivers, allowing state agencies to be more efficient in enforcing laws and regulations regarding uninsured motorists. Drive offers agencies the ability to carry out any of the major methods of insurance verification programs including: Random Sampling, Database, IICMVA Web Services or a hybrid database & IICMVA Web Services program.

This base system utilizes HDI’s extensive exact and fuzzy data matching algorithms to accurately identify individuals through the comparison of disparate data sets. From locating the correct driver’s license to suspend to determining correct courses of healthcare, to supporting the tracking and enforcement of statewide medical marijuana programs, the power of data matching cannot be undervalued. Incorporating HDI’s extensive history of creating data matching algorithms which produce the highest possible match rates, Pinpoint features match ranking to further enhance accuracy and confidence. Pinpoint can accept data from multiple data sources and produce meaningful results that can be used for any purpose. The Pinpoint system is fully scalable, accurate and can be tailored to meet any needs where at least two data sets are available.

Pinpoint – Delinquent Child Support Enforcement

This system, tailored from the original Pinpoint base system, seeks to locate individuals who are behind on child support payments. Utilizing agency-provided data from multiple sources, Pinpoint can be used to place motor vehicle registration holds, suspend driver’s licenses, identify workplaces for wage garnishments, or fulfill any other enforcement option available to state agencies. Utilizing Pinpoint’s accurate data matching algorithms, the system matches data to locate the correct delinquent obligor. The system also provides an agency portal, allowing authorized users to review data matches before any enforcement option is executed. Once approved, Pinpoint communicates enforcement data to relevant authorities for further action.

This HDI-developed data entry application system allows clients to turn paper documents into meaningful data accurately and efficiently. SHARP – Social Health Assessment
and Referral Platform

This prototype system seeks to increase patient referrals to relevant programs aimed at increasing healthcare outcomes. In an ideal world, individuals would have access to cancer screenings, diagnosis, treatment, medications and other forms of care without regard to race, ethnicity, gender, social status, financial status, employment, or other socio-cultural factors. Unfortunately, this is not always the case. The goal of SHARP is to provide a secure assessment and referral tool based on research in the field of social determinants of health. Through this system, physicians and patients can work together to determine barriers to care. The system intends to integrate direct patient-provided SDH information and match it against information from local providers so that each patient can be empowered with local services available to provide various levels of support during and post-treatment.

Healthcare Data Systems

HDI has supported the healthcare industry in 35 states, including agencies private companies, from the beginning. From Prescription Drug Monitoring Programs (PDMP) and Retrospective Drug Utilization Review (RDUR) to Point of Sale (POS) and Prior Authorization (PA) software, HDI Solutions has developed and managed industry leading systems and software for a multitude of government and private sector clients.

Software serves as the controlled substance database for states. Patient and prescription data is received from pharmacies and analyzed using a clustering algorithm. This process ranks the likelihood of different patient records being the same patient, based on specific data points. Providers writing controlled substance prescriptions access the provider system to review controlled substance usage history prior to writing a prescription. Systems can be designed to cross-reference PDMP data across state lines to help identify individuals doctor shopping for controlled substances.
Systems combine data from state agencies and private insurers to identify potential drug-related problems and a drug history for each patient within the system. Claims data is run through the system against therapeutic drug utilization review (DUR) criteria lists to identify all potential drug-related problems. The system can also be used to produce patient profiles and analyze the data within these profiles to determine if interventions are necessary.
Software uses clinical algorithms and proprietary software to reduce and manage pharmacy costs. Our processes have maximized clinical value by integrating eligibility verification, criteria review, letter generation, call center review processes, quality controls and appeals review components into a single system. Our experience implementing automated decisions logic has allowed users to leverage all available information and make consistent, evidence-based determinations.
Software with real-time prior authorization (PA) query performed automatically at the POS. On average, approval takes less than 3 seconds and takes the burden of seeking PA off both the provider and patient.
